Luckily I don’t have 99 problems, today’s only real dilemma is which f my tasty new boozes to try first. Some years ago I joined , a splendid cooperative from whom I buy nearly all of my wine. Give ’em a look if you’re that way inclined, I’ve found them rather good. Anyhoo…today I received an order, always a good day.
This was especially good as the cupboard was getting a little bare, its looking a good deal more healthy now.
Which only left me the trauma of which wine to start with? After all that, with around a dozen bottles of Haut Medoc in the bunch, I think I’ll go a little farther east to the end of the Gironde to Cotes de Castillion. Well, the sun’s shining and the weather’s warming up, let’s try Chateau Pitray 2008, and damned tasty it is too. Its got quite a short finish with bright cherry fruits & very food friendly, light but full enough to stand on its own.
